We’re delighted to introduce tea pairing dining to the UK through a series of limited-edition tea pairing menus at three critically acclaimed restaurants across the nation. Created exclusively for Pure Leaf in a collaboration between the restaurants’ innovative chefs and our own Tea Master, Joyce Muendo, the limited-edition menus offer food and tea lovers across the country the chance to try out a range of exciting new gastronomic flavour combinations.

Talli Joe (London)

Talli Joe is an award-winning restaurant specialising in contemporary Indian cuisine that offers ‘tapas style’ sharing plates in a lively, vibrant setting. Its innovative and vibrant menu has just been made even more colourful with the launch of a delicious new afternoon tea menu, giving Londoner’s love of fine tea a flavourful Indian twist. As well as a cup of Pure Leaf’s finest, tea lovers can immerse themselves in tea-infused dessert offerings such as the brioche millefeille, which has been sprinkled with Pure Leaf’s Black Assam with Madagascan Vanilla for a double tea hit. Food for Friends (Brighton)

Sustainable, honest vegetarian cuisine is Food for Friends’ speciality and their beautifully intimate yet airy restaurant situated in Brighton’s historic South Lanes. The restaurant will be launching a Limited-Edition menu of fabulous tea pairings across their small and large plate menu, allowing guests to discover the endless variety of complementary flavours that fine, loose-leaf tea can bring to sweet and savoury dishes. We highly recommend the raw beetroot and nut cheese ravioli paired with Pure Leaf Black Tea with Berries, whilst the crispy violetta artichokes and goat’s curd paired with Pure Leaf’s Green Tea with Jasmine is another firm favourite. Grafene (Manchester)

Under the direction of Head Chef, Ben Mounsey, Grafene offers an eclectic, haute-cuisine British menu using ingredients sourced from non-GM local or artisan suppliers. Their signature 4 and 7-course tasting menus have been given an exciting tea twist, with a Pure Leaf tea flight serving as a refreshing alternative for those looking to avoid wine. The brilliant minds at Grafene have boldly paired carrot, cardamom, charcoal and orange with Pure Leaf’s stunning Chai, which perfectly complements the smokiness of the charcoal and brings out the orange zest.
